Introduction to Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association Scotland (AMEA Scotland)
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association (AMEA) Scotland is an auxiliary arm of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, comprising members aged 40 and above. As a non-profit organization, AMEA is dedicated to serving others, fostering community engagement, and promoting the common good.
With a proud legacy of raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for British charities, our commitment to humanitarian service is deeply rooted in the values of Islam. For over a century, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has been at the forefront of a peaceful revival of Islam—since its founding in 1889 in India—championing peace, education, interfaith harmony, and integration.
At AMEA Scotland, we collaborate with local charities and community groups to support humanitarian and environmental causes. We welcome people of all backgrounds to our mosques, community events, and interfaith seminars to build mutual understanding and cohesive societies.
